Synthesis
Since 2001, the ePrep initiative has been gathering actors in the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) for Education domain, in order to launch innovative projects for enhancing international and social access to the "Grandes écoles".
Since 2006, members of the ePrep Community of Practice, community launched in the framework of the PALETTE Project, have been developing a collaborative edition Website (Wikiprépas) and a Francophone platform offering multidisciplinary pedagogical content in free access, while conducting activities focussed on pedagogical innovation and international cooperation.
To date, ePrep tries to reinforce its role for its whole community (a community of interest of more than 1 000 members and a community of practice of more than 40 members). That explains the choice of the theme of this fourth Thematic Seminar which brough together about 30 participants on October 26, 2009, at Institut Henri Poincaré, in Paris: "ePrep: an open platform at the service of its community".
This theme includes several topics: Development of the ePrep Community of Practice, Digital pedagogical content and good practices: the example of the ePrep CoP projects, Interactions between the ePrep community and other communities of similar domains, Edition of digital books, International cooperation.
In these topics, the speakers' communications and the discussions with the participants allowed to give some answers to the two questions: Which priority for the next year? How to work concretely on the proposed topics?
Thanks to these some answers, an action plan will be proposed for the next future, including the development of the two flagship projects: Wikiprépas and the ePrep Francophone Platform (openess of the authors' community beyond the CPGE teachers' community, creation of one editorial committee for the two projects...) .
This action plan will depend on the results for the OFGE project and of the engagement of the "Grandes écoles" like ESSEC (the Wikiprépas host site) and ParisTech (the Francophone Platform host site).
The Seminar Lecture Committee was composed of 5 members of the ePrep Community of Practice: Jean-Pierre ARCHAMBAULT (CNDP/CRDP de Paris), Yolaine BOURDA (Supélec), Hichem CHAABANE (EPAM à Sousse), Pierre JARRAUD (Université Pierre et Marie Curie).
The whole programme of the seminar (communications and discussions) is proposed, in French, as:
- articles (pdf files with active links),
- slide shows (pdf files with active links),
- audio podcasts (MP3) or commented slide shows (MP4) .
